Currently running an Asrock pro3 mobo with AMD a10 cpu;

you half to change mobos when running intel right or am I retarded; can i simply purchase the i9 and slap it in my mobo?

no they use different sockets.

Probably have to change mobo, CPU and RAM. Why don't you give a Spoeccy screenshot, so we can better help you...

...get the FREE version from either link.
...Speccy is a really nice system hardware/temperature, information Utility.
...simply install it...and run the program...then post a screen shot of the main page of the program, when posting a problem/question on these forums.

I remember the A10. How did it work out for you? Also the i9 is overkill and a half. Really only need an, i3 or i5.
