So i have two sets of 2x4gig DDR3 ram, there both the same one it's just one is a newer model of the same Dominator ram,

if i place them together the computer dose not boot, is it possible to make them work together?

Are they in the right spots?
Does the ram work in both slots by themselves?

If so contact corsair and ask for advanced shipping on a replacement kit.
Had the same issue awhile back. They will send a matching kit in return for your current set.

it was a while ago and it was through amazon so idk if i can return em at this point and yes they both work separately from eachother

and yes they where in there respected slots

nah dose not power up fully

U need matching speeds at least. The ram set have different speed and cas latency.

ahh yah maybe thats why what can i do other then to return one? maybe corsair will be nice enough to send me out a new set matching the ones i have

did you test each stick individually?

corsair might let you send both sets in and give you one complete set

crucial will ask for the bad stick only

they both work

i gues if i cant get a replacement then ill just try and resell it and buy another set not much you can do then that
