look for windows.old folder in C:
The restore partition thats made with windows 10 is about 15% the install.
System restore itself and page file also take up space though it should not account for the total I see.
probably picked up something on the Internet thats eating your free space.

Yeah I for rid of the .old.

I'll probably just just DL the ISO from MDL and re do it. Only got a couple programs on it anyways.

Seems to be the best course of action cause my 10 pro install is under 75GB with several programs installed.

Just reinstalled Windows. Now I got an issue where my M.2 is not showing up. Not appearing in Disk Management either, which it was earlier.

Is the drive showing up in the BIOS?

It's not showing under my SATA ports, but it didn't the first time either . Should I be looking else where?

Unfortunately, I don't use M.2 SSD's because of the BS required at times like this.

If it were me...I would just put it in another comp and wipe it. As for the problem with it not showing up anywhere...you can Google that, I DO remember seeing how to get around that. Something to do with UEFI and NVME.
Maybe Google: New M.2 drive doesn't show up in the BIOS.

As for specific places to look for the M.2 drive in your BIOS, I would need to know what motherboard you have, to answer that. Sometimes you need to look at boot devices, iirc.

Like I said, I would do some Googling, or even just call ASUS (assuming that's an ASUS board) The Z170 chipsets were barely able to work with M.2 ssd when they came out.
I was just googling a bit and saw what I remembered...a lot of BS to get it to work on those early chipsets.

It did get a lot easier with the z270 then the z370 chipsets. :/

I wish I could be more help. :(

/e Still looking but right away I found this...

Version 3703 2018/01/128.09 MBytes

Z170-A BIOS 3703
Fixed SAMSUNG M.2 device issue.
Fixed SanDisk M.2 device issue.
Fixed AMD RADEON SSD device issue.
Improved DRAM compatibility.

/e From your manual... there seems to be a setting for M.2 drives in the Advanced / Onboard Devices Configuration
