so i just got the galaxy s8. its nice and all. but the edged screen or curved, or whatever you call it. the edges of the screen are elongated and curved.

i feel like its such a gimmick. like some parts of letters when typing get sort of distorted and well i accidentally touch the screen as i am holding the phone there....

any1 else got a phone like this? do you like the edge screen or no?

My mom has it her screen protector doesn't sir properly but she hasn't complained

Damn you make me so glad I got the S7 and not the S7 Edge. I would have hated bumping the screen every time I held it on it edge.

The curved screen is the reason I stuck with the s7.

also the s8 has a new adapter for its new charger. lawl, thats also probably something they didnt have to put. but otherwise the phone is good so far...

i hated apple for making new cords all the time, but now samsung has followed.

I haven't had any trouble with the curved screen on my S8+.
But i also disabled the the curved features.

What new adapter? Don't they just use USB-C?

Exactly which is awesome for charging and easy at night.

My OnePlus 3T has it and love it and chargers from 20-100 in like 20-30 minutes and good battery

USB C should be a must on all smartphones. You don't need an adapter, you get an charging cable aswell with your phone.
It's not only samsung who is changing so is pretty much every other brands on the market.
Apple should have went with it as well. Should be a law the standard is USB type C.
