Not really looking to spend a ton, need to know what I should use. Yes, I've read many articles and done
some research, but I know some of you are more familiar with this market. Maybe $250-300

Let me know what you guys recommend/have and why.

Currently between google, lynksys velop(way expensive though), and eero seem like the best options.

why eero though, I've really never heard of it until I started looking into updating my home system.

Setup is simple, adding nodes if you need additional coverage is simple. It utilizes whatever signal is best for the backhaul between devices (and can do Ethernet as well), updates push automatically, reliable and stable connection.

I'm running a three-node Eero setup right now, and it is much more stable than the Netgear Nighthawk I was running before that, and I get better range, as well.

The Eero Beacons which are part of the 2nd generation hardware plug directly into wall outlets (no cord to get caught on anything), and double as night lights.

Noooooo

Extenders are absolute shit, and halve your bandwidth in order to give you range.
