Looking at buying Battlefield 1 and Cod ww2 when it comes out. I'm already getting a 2560 x 1080 Ultrawide monitor w/ 75 hz refresh rate. Wondering if my current setup will be able to play at full resolution, 60 or 75 frames, and high (not ultra) settings
FX 8320 (OC to 4.0 ghz)
16 gb 1600 mhz ram
Radeon 7870 (pretty sure this has got to go for ultrawide)

Yeah you gotta upgrade the gpu.

If you got the cash I would sell that whole system and do a new build.
AMD FX Ugh.

Kinda figured. Besides, getting a mid range Ryzen and OC will probs be good for at least 5 years?

Have a friend willing to buy the whole thing for 500, could toss a couple hundred more of my own and get upwards of a 1060 6gb or a 570 8gb (assuming prices and stock normalize by black friday)

Isn't 1070 a bit overkill for only 1080p, even if ultrawide?
