Why is the 1080 TI 11GB?

Why is the 1060 3gb when the 970 was 4gb only

Why did the pairing of Vram switch from 1/2/4/8 and sometimes 6 randomly

to 3/6/8/11

I want to play PUBG + Albion in the background but I run out of Vram with my 1060- but not with my 970.

Did they do this just to fuck with low-end cards to force you to get the superior 6gb model or the 1070?

You're comparing a 60 card to a 70 card. The 960 only had 2gb of vram, 970 had 3.5gb tbh.


Pubg is going to run like shit on any pc you play it on currently, Regardless of vram.

1060 also have a 6gb version. So that's pretty much on you

Thats why op has issues, you game runs but its poor as is let alone two games.

not quite. My fps is actually fine on the 1060 or 970, 60+ fps constant, unless it's that 1 fucking house and someone smokes it.

I want to have my Albion Online - On and play it during afk parts of the game because I'm a meta-slave afk camper.

if I use the 970 which has 3.5-4gb of vram everything is fine. If I use my 1060 albion + pubg crashes after a couple games because 'Video Ram Exceeded' and closes one of the games (usually pubg, the worst one to close.)

but the new generation model; the 1060 has 3gb and 6gb (Not 2gb/4gb like the 960/970) which is confusing why they would set a $240 price tag on a 3gb model when the 970 had 4gb-

Did they purposely do that to fuck with people just to force them to buy 6gb?
