So I recently upgraded to a gtx 1050 ti because I didn't really feel the need to shell out the extra hundred/couple hundred bucks for a 1060/1070/or 1080. I'm wondering if I should've maybe spent 100$~ on a 1060.
What're your guys' thoughts on the 1060?

It's much faster than the 1050Ti. And a 1070 is much faster than a 1060.

i think 1060 prices went up about two weeks ago if im not mistaken?

if you have the extra cash and you bought your 1050ti brand new i think you can do the NVIDIA step-up program and scale up to a 1060 or 1070 by paying the cash difference if you have the extra cash.

So I briefly read through that page but I didn't buy my card from their site.. Does this step-up program still work you think?

im pretty sure its from anywhere, just have to have the orig box/receipt.

i bought my 1070gtx from microcenter and was going to step-up to a 1080ti but timeframe was up for me.

if your a member on reddit the subreddit r/HardwareSwap is a very great place to buy/sell/trade PC/electronics on.

Nothing super graphics intensive, only pubg comes to mind in terms of needing a good gpu but the 1050 runs this game just fine. More or less I'm thinking about longevity of my current card, and if I should've just spent more now to not upgrade for longer
