So ive been looking into possibly overclocking my computer, however, it would be the first time.

This is my pc build:

https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/4zRB6X

H100i gtx fans were replaced with the noctua ones. Other 3 case fans are the stock fans that come with the case and 1 more that i added.

The games I am playing are:

Black Desert Online (always running in background)
Csgo
League of Legends
Pubg

Just looking for some opinions if I should or not as bdo usually freezes while playing pubg mostly. Bdo can get choppy depending on if youre in a main town or rbf or at a world boss.

Let me know what you guys think I should do and exactly what i'd need to do.

Would also be interested in some opinions on srttings for bdo as right now i have mostly everything on medium.

Also, would like to know what programs I can use to check my current temperatures and speeds.

Thanks!

Why'd you get a 6600k, a Z170, and a CLC if you didn't plan to overclock?

HWMonitor for keeping an eye on temps.

Use AIDA64 Extreme to monitor your temps, and everything else about your comp.

It's far better than HWMonitor.

pubg should only use aroung 4gb of ram, unless something have changed in past week.

...and like he said he also has bdo in the background on top of whatever else he might have running including a browser, the os, reserved memory, etc.
if bdo got shoved into pagefile its going to be so slow it may as well be frozen

BDO looks like browser based game and I would guess it doesnt use so much memory, could be wrong ofcourse.
