Hey guys, what would You buy r5 1600 or i5 7600?

R5 1600 is 6/12 3.2->3.6
i5 7600 is 4/4 3.5->4.1

I guess intel will be better just in pure gaming.
But I use a lot of multitasking during gameplay like 1. screen - path of exile, 2. screen - spotify+discord 3.screen jsp/poetrade/fb.
Will ryzen be better for it? Even with worse clock but more cores?

Yes an i5 is a waste of money.

You can look up the benches for yourself but Ryzen plays like a Haswell i5 for pure gaming, but keeps almost the same performance when streaming and multitasking.


The 7600K would be better if all you have open are those things above, a few exra chrome tabs isn't a merit enough to get a 6 Core. If you were streaming or had Diablo 2 running in the background though...

but it would be 7600 not k, my currency is worth 5times less than euro, K+ additional cooler makes it too expensive.

The K series implies you will want to overclock the processor and squeeze out more power. You don't have to though. It can get complicated and time consuming

I know what is K, but it's more expensive than normal + there is no box cooling, so i would have to buy 8gb instead od 16gb ram and worse 1060model.

In that case yeah get the 1600. You bring up a good point about it not including a cooler which can take up budget for other components.

Way better value for your money since It does include a decent cooler.

/E You could also overclock the R5 up to like 3.8 even with the stock cooler, you would just need a B350 motherboard

Asus GeForce GTX 1060 6GB looks interesting because of 2x hdmi, i could keep my two monitors and buy one with display port (ips 75hz)
