I bought a RX 480 4GB for $160 on a dank sale from Newegg. I see the same card going for $300+ USED on E-Bay because apparently they are amazing at mining Some E-Currency right now.

Thinking about ditching it asap while there is a huge price bubble and getting a 1070 or 980 TI because all I care about is that FPS in games.

Same happened with 7970's.

I actually made decent money mining with just a 7990.

I've heard of people literally filling rooms in their homes with 10-15 pcs... crazy ventilation and electrical setups.

ive got an old reference amd 7950

but it stopped working one day.

i never figured out what was wrong with it. how much could i probably sell it for, even though it doesnt work? some1 might try to fix it for a reduced price?

I'm going to run it on a 2700K clocked to 4.5GHZ I feel like a 980 TI would already bottle neck it a bit. 1080 would just be thrown away money.

but you can carry it over....

maybe he doesnt plan to upgrade any time soon, sandy bridge now is pretty much what the q6600 was, people swore by it and some still do
