So I ordered a mobile TV stand to mount my 65inch ks8000 TV on. Because the TV is too large to sit on a dresser and I don't want to mount it to the wall.

But the mobile TV stand uses the same mounting bracket as if I were to mount my TV to the wall.

so apparently the ks8000 used M8 x 45 mm screws.

What is the proper way to attach the mounting bracket to the TV? Do I need a washer or spacer, or both?

I would assume that the spacer is there to protect the TV from the metal mounting bracket and help hold the screw in better?

Also is there any way to tell if you are screwing in too deeply into the TV? I would hate to break or damage the TV by screwing in too deep? Also I don't want to screw in too shallow and make a weak hold..... Im super worried....

Thanks!

How does this mounting stand not have directions?
Are you too much of a man to read the instructions?

i didnt get the stand in the mail yet. it comes tomorrow. and the TV comes in mail the next day.

And ive seen the pdf of the directions for the mount, it has shit directions. And the reviews of the mount all say how shitty the directions are.

Heres the instruction manual that the seller emailed me : https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1190/2562/files/STAND-TV03E_MANUAL.pdf?12211717298437194263

this is the stand : https://www.amazon.com/VIVO-Plasma-Wheels-Mobile-STAND-TV03E/dp/B00TFXO4Q4

it says 29, 30 if necessary for the picture to mount the bracket. but i dont see any 29 or 30 item listed?

But do you think i should use a washer or spacer before the bracket? and in what order? TV--> spacer --> Bracket --> washer --> screw

like that order?

That stand is gonna get tipped over so easily, it's scary.

Just like in the .pdf. Find which screw size (M4, M6 or M8) fits the TV, then use that size screw and the corresponding washer and spacer as shown.

/e I too noticed there's no 29 and 30 listed in the .pdf. They might have still been included though.

This is the order: TV then spacer, then the stand, then the washer, then the screw.

ok thanks so its the same order i posted above.

the screw size i need doesnt come with this mount, so i have heard i can just go to a local hardware store to buy 4 screws and washers.

what do you mean it will tip? it does look a bit unstable but from what ive read it seems okay. it says it can hold up to 65 inch tv and 110 lbs. Some people have said they used a 70 inch tv on this mount. My tv is 65 inch and 51 lbs.

I like the fact that it can be wheeled around and raised or lowered. But my only worry is how well the TV stand will stay in a raised position and not just randomly fall down to a lower slot. Also i am worried that the wheels may be poor quality and possibly snap one day and then the stand will be unbalanced and the TV will fall over immediately.

Edit: I am also somewhat confused on how you secure the TV to the bracket? Like I see you attach a bracket to the stand. And a separate bracket to the TV. Then you hang the TV onto the stand. But i dont see how you secure these together after the TV is hanging on the stand? Do you see this in the instructions?

yea it does a bit. But look at all of the great reviews. I also checked fakespot.com to check for the quality of reviews and it seems good enough.

but the base seems pretty big

If the base weighs about 25% more than the TV, then it will probably be OK.

However much the base weighs, I would definitely set something pretty heavy on the outer edges of the base.
