How is virt difficult?

https://virt-manager.org/

Not only does it supply UI application interfaces to adjust your containers, it also has a programming API for creating scripts yourself as well as a built in CLI interface for monitoring and adjusting containers.

Much more practical any thing you guys have suggested.

Plus QEMU is beast. Let's see you emulate a unique arm or sparx cpu core with virtualbox or vmware.
