https://www.asus.com/ca-en/Motherboards/PRIME-B350-PLUS/

i downloaded a driver from the driver tab, but when i extract it it just goes into a word doc?!
maybe i downloaded the wrong one?

anyways i want to download this driver, so i can make sure my fans ramp up during gaming etc and can make sure they are all working etc.
sorry probably a pretty easy question but i did try and cant get it to work.

If the fans are plugged into the motherboard....then they can be controlled from the BIOS, on the Hardware Monitor tab.

You can set them to rev up per temperature, so yes.

Use speedfan. Just google how to use it properly as you have to override settings to control the fan headers.

Speedfan has been responsible for some really nasty issues in the past. It's best just to set up a fan curve in the BIOS.

The built in fan curves are garbage.

My MSI krait doesn't ramp the Rpms up nearly enough to compensate for the heat put out.
