http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-3263265/msi-live-update-support-platform.html

I'm having this issue with the stuff I just bought. I have ryzen 5 1500x, asus b350 mobo and msi Radeon rx 480 4gb.

I somehow got the gaming app to work, but I can't give liveupdate for all of the drivers. Apparently the mobo and gpu aren't compatible or something? Has anyone experienced this issue?

NEVER use an updater to update drivers. ALWAYS do it manually.

/e Your parts are compatible. The AM4 boards are new, give ASUS time to fix their updater, that no one uses anyhow.

/ee Btw, your motherboard is so new that the drivers on the CD are most likely identical to the ones on ASUS's website.

I wasn't sure... I saw people posting the same issue in 2015

Might be a good idea to post a Speccy screenshot. Then jsp will have a copy of it for you, in case you ever need it.

Get SPECCY here: http://www.piriform.com/speccy/download
...get the FREE version from the: Piriform Link
...Speccy is a really nice system hardware/temperature, information Utility.
...simply install it...and run the program...then post a screen shot of the main page of the program, when posting a problem/question on these forums.

I just feel like something isn't right. There have been too many difficulties getting stuff to work I've never encountered before

Just checked ASUS's website for your motherboard. There are no ...newer drivers for your motherboard.

/e Your vid card may have newer drivers. If so...just follow the AMD directions...

DDU Instructions - Nvidia/AMD
1. Get this program, here: http://www.wagnardmobile.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=144 ...from the "Official Download Here" link, and save it to your desktop.
2. Get your vid card driver here, use the Manual Search: Nvidia: http://www.geforce.com/drivers ...or AMD: http://support.amd.com/en-us/download ...save this to your desktop.
3. Run DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) choose: Nvidia or AMD, then choose the "Highly Recommend Option", and just do what it tells you. If it wants to go into "Safe Mode", let it.
4. After it's done and comp has rebooted to normal mode, just double click the Nvidia or AMD driver ( that you saved to your desktop in step #2) ...to install. If it want's to reboot, let it.

I'm not sure then. It's hard to explain. A lot of stuff freezes or crashes for no reason. Never seen it happen with other builds

"Stuff" isn't very explanatory.
Your temps look kind of high. Like you SSD and hard drive, for example.

Try to keep the room the computer is in, at about 65F max.
