Now I can't get any USB ports to work in windows... they work in the bios but nowhere else. Yes I'm using USB 2.0... frankly I tried every single USB port. Everything is enabled in the bios so I'm not sure what's going on

Install drivers.
Open up device manager (search in start menu)

Go to manufactures website, find your Mobo, download the most recent driver.for everything missing.

You should have at least 2 working USB ports, keep trying to plug things in. Can change ports while PC is booted

Not a single one works.... I only have an old keyboard I was able to get working cuz it's the old adapter style. But I can't install drivers from the disk without a mouse

E/ got it working... I was able to find the right file to run on the mobo cd and it installed the drivers. I'm not sure why they had to be done to use usb2.0 tho...

windows 7 has some annoyances with USB drives, to make you want 10 more.
if you were having these issues on 10, then i have no explanation.

Sometimes your only option with a newer mobo on windows 7, is to use the cd drive or hook your hard drive up to another pc to transfer the driver to it :(
