I need a nice set of headphones with heavy bass. Also, it would be best if they were noise cancelling / don't let out much sound. I'll be using them on an airplane in the future and don't want to bother everyone.

Budget is up to $200. If something spectacular is a little more, throw it my way I'd love to see.

I bought some random 30 dollar headphones and they do not do it plus they leak almost all of the sound and everyone can hear what I am listening to. lol

So let's see what you guys can show me!

Thanks!

Boss quietcomfort 25 if you can find a sale on them or maybe one of their earlier models. Man the Base and true noise cancellation is truely amazing.

I would stay away from bose, over priced junk.

Best heavy bass headphones I have heard: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B008MUXTSU/
These are in your budget but arent so bass heavy: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0016MNAAI/

Yeah probably not my area of expertise. I should probably read up on headset and speakers.

Still won't active noise cancellation be a huge plus when traveling?

Funny that they dont list AH-D600 at all. I have Fostex TH-X00 and AH-D600 has a lot more bass than them.

I forgot to mention they need to be available on Amazon. I have a gift card I would be using. :P

Thank you! I will look into it!

E: Do the Pro 700 mk II's have noise cancelling? I need to wear them on an airplane that I do not want to have people pissed off over leaking sounds.

I wish there was a way to listen to them without buying first :(

Closed cans should be fine without noise cancelling. Unless you blast on extreme levels.. If noise cancelling is a must then these would be really good neutral cans, not so cheap tho: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00SNI44CQ/

There's a seller on ebay selling them for 175. ugh I wish it was amazon, because I have the gift card for there.

Might get JVC HA-MR77x
or V-MODA Crossfade M-100

Perhaps the Audio-Technica ATH-PRO700MK2

Not sure! Wish I can hear them each. :(

I just want something that I can throw on some good electric style music and listen to the bass.
