I used the one in this forum last time, but that was 6 or 7 years ago.
just wondering is there is any similar guides people use?

all my components are in, windows 10 on usb, key ready to go.
going to assemble tomorrow evening.

Well 6-7 years ago wasn't as easy as it is now to build a PC. find yourself a nice youtube guide and youll be okay. there are now, a million and one decent resources on how to build a PC :)

I will say you don't need to worry about finding your specific board unless you don't have something like an Am4 mobo or a z170 mobo, and it would only really help you install an aftermarket cooler. otherwise it won't really matter what board :)

unless you get a AIO, then its impossible to fuck up building one

Pretty sure you still have to apply paste for an aio
