Hey Guys! It's been awhile :)

Recently I have had issues with some PNY RAM. I RMA'd a set and got a new set in. However when I use these 2 new ones in tandem with the 2 old ones, Aida brings up hardware failure on ram testing.
If i use either pair (old pny or new pny) with any different ram, i do not get hardware failures.
If i use either pair alone, i get no errors.
The only time I get errors is with all 4 PNY sticks. (testing 3 right now)

I was initially thinking voltage somewhere, but the fact that it works with equivalent 1.5 volt ram puzzles me.
Any ideas?

I had two sets of corsair dominator ram that would crash my system randomly.
Took 4 months to narrow down the issue, despite both sets working flawlessly in memtestx86 they would not play nice outside it.
I ended up rma'ing the sets for a single set with corsair. Your probably going to have to do the same as the ram probably has
a different revision number and its conflicting over minute changes in the ram itself between the revisions.

/edit
This is one of those freak issues that arise with mix matching ram kits and why we strongly oppose it unless necessary.
oh and didn't you have a tag once? what happened there.

I tried that also going to 800 from 1066 but it didn't help me personally.
Though I don't particular like dropping ram speeds since I oc everything I get my hands on.

You mean droping the actual timings like 9-9-9-9-24 lower?
so like 10-10-10-10-10-24 hmm.

worth a shot I guess, never did try that.
