Apparently, this time RE is FPS, and only takes 8-10 hours to beat.

On a scale of 1-10 the Donor Forum gives it, I'd say, a 5 or a 6 at best.

I beat it in 10, was pretty good for my first RE game

there were a few jumpy parts that made me throw my mouse, and a few times i wanted to punch a hole in my monitor

I'm maybe an hour tops into it.

Pretty interesting so far.

Dunno yet. I've just dove into it & havent really got into the story yet. I'm pretty much at the very start.

If you're a fan of the old Resident Evil games, this will probably disappoint. By switching to the FPS style, they really threw away a lot of what made the Resident Evil games unique. It's basically the same as any other survival horror game these days. If you've played Outlast or any other recent survival horror you have a good idea of what to expect.
