Well i had an old dekstop lying around
and i found same spare parts for it so i could use it someitimes.

Specs now are

CPU: q6600
Ram : Kingston hyperx 4x2GB 800mhz
Mobo : Asus p5k
GPU: Nvidia Geforce 8600gt
psu : no name 550watt

Things i changed
CPU: intel c2duo e6750 to intel c2quad q6600
Ram : from 2x2gb hyperx added 2 more
Removed the old 320 sata drive

So after taking out the stock e6750 cooler and removed the old cpu i put back the q6600 applied the last use from my artic silver s and reseated the cooler.
I first got into bios, didin't checked temps that time ) everything was fine.
Tried to run lubuntu from usb stick but after the lubuntu logo loading pc shutted down.
I didn't cared much so i plugged an hard drive and tried to install windows 10, sometime in early install again shuts down twice.
Plugged back the windows 7 i actually had on the old sata disk, boots up i also had speccy on desktop .
I run speccy but doens't give anything for cpu and pc again shuts down.
I then checked the temps on bios and i had steadilly 85 celsius until pc again shut down.
I also suspected the psu so i switched to one thermaltake 400watt psu which was powering another crappy desktop i have but had the same stuff going.
Any advice?

Better cooler. Is it even plugged in cause that would occur from a really high voltage or the fan is dead

It's the thermal paste on the CPU. It's not applied properly.

/e As Z97 said...it could also be the CPU fan is not plugged into the proper fan header on the motherboard.

The CPU fan should be plugged in where the RED circle is on this pic

That's not the cause. I've ran my system without paste and it's within ~2-3c with paste.

Reset thew BIOS to defaults, check the Thermal paste and make sure the CPU fan is plugged into the fan header shown in the picture.

Reset the bios. 1.7 is enough to burn it out or the chip is bad

Might be the motherboard. Might be the CPU, but they hardly ever go bad. :/
