i know this is computer discussion but i figure i will get better answers here than in donor forum. anyways i just got my christmas bonus and am looking at a new tv. i found a 55" tcl with roku built in for a good price and was just wondering if anyone has any experience with this tv brand or if they have heard anything about them. the majority of reviews seems to be great on this tv i am just looking for opinions on this brand

Not a great brand but not a bad price if you are willing to be patient go take a look at your local best buy and see what you can get for open box deals. They get a lot during the beginning of January because of gifts etc, they'll be looking to push them out the door.

Closest best buy or anything like that is at least an hour away. Also gift card is for walmart. I like vizio but the price of one is way higher than this. Normally i wouldnt go for a brand ive never heard of but it has great reviews and a lot of them so thats what is swaying me towards this tv

If it's what you can afford it makes sense, go for it!
