I formatted my HDD after I did a windows install on my SSD and configured the boot to go from the SSD when everything booted up and I checked my computer I now have 4 partitions? C: D: E: and G:? D: and G: are both "System Reserved" and only have 99.9MB

I unplugged my HDD and everything booted correctly? should I worry about it? what are these?

I did change it to my SSD, it won't let me pick my HDD and a secondary though not sure why? everything seems to be working fine though?

Next time.... when you need to install Windows, just "unhook" any other "drives" in the computer. :)

You can just hide the 'system reserve' partitions from showing through disk manager.

Or just read what you're clicking on when partitioning the drives.

I didn't click on anything except the SSD to install windows on, I like how you can criticize me but can't provide any useful knowledge

windows 10 makes 4 partitions by default i believe.
1 for os 1 for system reserve 1 for recovery 1 EFI boot partition

as rikuo said hide the other partitions via windows.
as to why its not booting when the other drives install idk
