My local microcenter has one in stock for around my price range.

Just want to see if anyone prefers the curved over flat and why.

Using a 23" 1080p 50hz flat and would like something bigger and the curved screen sorta caught my eye. Being microcenter i got asked 50 times if i needed help so i asked if they could hold it till the weekend to see if i wanted it.

Get flat. Curved is just a marketing trick. Curved has more narrow viewing angle for example.

Thats what i was reading, i just didnt have the time to actually sit down in front of one to get play time in and see how i like it.

Any recommended moniters for around $300? Might spend more if my 2 moniters sell.

Depends what you want from your monitor. I personally like Dell Ultrasharp screens for superior picture quality and wide adjustment on the stand. Some prefer monitors with higher refrehsrate.

In order to offer you any more in-depth knowledge we need to know what sort of games you play and how often you delve in the world of bluray rip movies.
