UNDF isn’t a file format, but a short error code to explain that the file you are trying to play has an undefined file format. Basically, it means the VLC media player is not able to read the format of the file you are trying to play. When the VLC media is unable to recognize the file format, it would certainly throw an error such as “No suitable decoder module: VLC does not support the audio or video format undf”.
Sounds like the video might be corrupt or something?

Is there a better media player out there?
Each person has their own preferences, But VLC is a very popular media player. I prefer it over everything else i've tried through the years.
