This will only be used for college, only benefit I see for the Lenovo is gaming basic games like dragon nest or league... But I am trying to cut out gaming if I buy the laptop.

They are both talked down to 300$

I don't think I can push them any lower.

MacBook is a 13" while the Lenovo is 12.5"

Lenovo was purchased in 2014 and used daily at office.

MacBook is a college girls laptop and she doesn't need anymore.

Specs for MacBook Pro

i5 2.5 ghz
500gb
4gb ram

Specs for Lenovo

* 12.5" 1080p display (1920 x 1080 - with 10 point multi-touch and digitizer pen).
* Intel Core i5-4300 CPU @ 1.90Ghz 2.50GHz
* 180 GB Solid State Drive
* 4GB RAM
* 2 USB 3.0 Super Speed Ports
* Micro HDMI output

If you have the money to buy another laptop if the used one you are contemplating, breaks, then go for it.

If you are buying a laptop that you need to depend on, buy new.

/e Yeah, you MIGHT luck out and get one that holds up. Chances are, you'll be getting someone else's lemon.

I thought of this as well. The Lenovo has the Lenovo default warranty... But of course... If it ends and something goes wrong. Then I am shit out of luck.

The MacBook would be even worse

This isn't really a matter of specs. This is Windows vs OS X. If you prefer one over the other go for it.

The SSD alone on the Lenovo is a buying point for me. Laptop HDD's are all 5400 RPM whichs is like 33% slower than their desktop counterparts.

Used daily at the office. <<< Used by ppl that don't really care what happens to the laptop, cause they don't own it.

A college girls laptop. <<< I'm thinking, beer bongs, laptop pushed off the desk, to make room for sex...etc., etc., etc.

Checking out the Lenovo right now

Checked the Mac this morning. Everything was good expect the outside. Small little dents everywhere and by the cd drive was "drop" style scratches and aluminum was slightly out of shape from it.

Asked what happened and she doesn't recall. Like ghot said is what I thought lmao. Made it harder because she was deaf.

Bought the Lenovo, talked him down to 250.

He thought I was an older man, but I'm a young buck ready to explore the world.

Serious shit though, laptop literally looks brand new.

He had a screen protector on the screen, warranty is still available, Windows 10 pro, he kept his laptop tucked away in his desk.

Time to get more ram!
