Hi guys,

My keyboard just got crazy since 20 minutes, I don't really understand what's happenning.
So I have a Ducky Shine 4, it all started when I was playing a game and then suddenly when I was typing any key, it would just copy some random words like for example if I press num lock it'll copy that : HQSDFGJKL M%4%gqsdfhjkl m4HQSDFGJKL M%4hqsdfgjkl mù4

As you can see everytime it's a lil bit different, I don't understand really. Same goes for ctrl, whenever I press it, my scroll lock is also activating.

Any of CTRL shortcut don't work, like CTRL + T for my chrome not working etc..

My ESC is acting as F5, F11 etc.. Tried to restart my computer, unplug my keyboard, not working, uninstall keyboard in windows, reset to factory default directly on the keyboard, any of these are working

Any help would be appreciated :(

In the Device Manager, expand "Keyboards." Right-click the entry for the keyboard nested under "Keyboards." Then select "Uninstall." Finally, restart the computer. The computer will reinstall the drivers for the keyboard.


That or you wrecked your keyboard and need to clean it or buy a new one.

Already done the first one unfortunatly.

The things that I don't understand is right now i'm typing with it, the only thing that really fuck everything is the CTRL thing that activate scroll lock everytime i press it.

Same things for ESC and caps lock, whenever I activate them they do weird things, the rest is working ..

I bought the keyboard like 1 year ago, no more warranty and it was 200€, that's why I'm willing to pay up to 1k fgs to fix this shit :(

If your F Lock key is turned on, press it again to turn it off. Then try the commands once again.

ALso try disabling Num Lock after replugging your keyboard.

What do you mean by : F lock key? I don't have it on my keyboard

There are some little tiny switches on the bottom (backside) of the keyboard. It sounds like you got one of those switches...moved to the wrong position.

Get the Manual on the bottom left side of this page...

Try this then if you have no f lock key..you probably just have a switch set on the wrong setting.

I tried to switch it ON then OFF but nothing changed, and never touched those button ever

You might have bumped them by accident. I've done it before. :/



/e Like I said above...download the manual. The Shine 4 has tons of settings. Might even require a reboot after changing some of the settings.

1.Open Start>Run> Type without Quotes: "osk" and press enter.
2.Press those key's which were creating troubles and check those keys on the Osk.
3. If the keys on Osk Works fine then there's a problem with your Keyboard and if the Osk is also facing the same problem then you might have to Format the System because some malwares attack the system drive and alters the behaviour of custom keys.


If the former is the case for #3 then you will need to get a RMA from retailer or Ducky manufacturer.
