I am running Windows 7 and I'm currently trying to install a mod for ''Halo Online'' but this error keeps cming up




I've tried ms Visual C++ install and repair


It still won't fix the problem

I had it installed already (the 64bit version)

halo probably uses the 32bit library, I wouldn't expect much good code from game developers

It's not halo evolve tho, it's an unofficial version of halo 3 (which came out last month)

but It won't let me install 32bits over 64

copy & paste the dll in the game folder, too

It's a "modified" version of halo 3 multiplayer that was done by some germans that is still technically in it's alpha phase. First time hearing about this issue though. None of their message boards pertaining to it have any mention of it either.

I meant his can't install 32bit

since it's made by ghetto germans it's undoubtedly 32bit

if it was russians it'd be 64bit

It shouldn't be trying to install over it. You can have both versions on your system. I do.

Search the install folder for a file called vs_isoshell.exe
If there is one, run it.

last thing I can think of. I recall having the same dll missing when I tried to run the xcom 2 mod tools and it required me to run the ue3redist file and vs_isohell file because the devs in their infinite wisdom didn't set it to install correctly.
