after everything was installed i get this error when trying to open the control pannel :/

I checked Dxdiag, and under the render tab my card shows up, but for display it just says microsoft basic display device

DDU Instructions
1. Get this program, here: http://www.wagnardmobile.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=144 ...form the "Official Download Here" link, and save it to your desktop.
2. Get your vid card driver here, use the manual search: http://www.geforce.com/drivers/results/96079 ...save this to your desktop.
3. Run DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) choose the "Highly Recommend Option", and just do what it tells you. If it wants to go into "Safe Mode", let it.
4. After it's done and comp has rebooted to normal mode, just double click the Nvidia driver to install. If it want's to reboot, let it.

Try rebooting anyways.

/e You might try setting Windows Updates to manual. The other possibility I can think of, is that you Upgraded to Win 10, but didn't do a clean install of Win 10 afterwards?

It's a laptop I just bought a few weeks ago, it already had win 10 on it

Would a factory reset do anything or a system reset but keep files?

A Factory Restore would put it back to day one, like the day you bought it. May even solve the problem.

/e If you bought in a store, rather than online...take it back and tell them to fix it.

No I bought it online on newegg

I reinstalled Intel HD graphics and now my games are launching again. On csgo (only game I play atm) my video settings all ended up reset for some reason.

It's running at same fps it used to

My concern is tho, on dxdiag under display it now shows Intel HD graphics instead of basic rendering device. Still not showing my video card under display but shows it in render

If you only bought it a few weeks ago, I would just do a Factory Restore.

Pre-built computers, like laptops, have a hidden Factory Restore partition. I would just call ASUS tech support: 888-678-3688, and tell them what the problem is, and ask them to explain to you....how to do a Factory Restore.
