Been having trouble with my current system so I decided originally to replace one or two things....it didn't happen and i ended up dropping a lot more money than anticipated so i figure screw it just may as well buy everything new.

So far I purchased a Thermaltake Level 10 GT Snow Edition Super Gaming Modular Tower Case.

Z97X-UD3H-BK Mobo

Intel I7-4790K CPU

Corsair HX-850 PSU

(Haven't purchased GPU - Currently using GTX 660)

2x 8GB DDR3 ram (cant remember what kind) i think speed is PC3-10700 667MHz? not sure what number people refer to

2x 1tb black HDD for games and my 80gb SSD for my OS.

I'm pretty sure that's everything. For now I am mainly searching for a nice GPU (best bang for buck). So I figured I would ask you guys.

Any advice helps! Thanks guys!

Don't get smaller than a 120GB SSD ...250GB SSD is even better.

That's you...and what size is your SSD? No I'm not gonna argue with you. You're giving bad advice, just to argue?

/e OP get a 120GB SSD or bigger. Check the Computer building forum...NO ONE gets a 80GB SSD.

Better yet, just get this one: https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/part/samsung-internal-hard-drive-mz75e250bam

Yeah I was considering either the GTX 970 or 980. Given the almost double price between the 970 and 980 what would be the difference graphically? I mean I dont typically run extreme HD games...however if I wanted to what differences would I expect. Also when purchasing a GPU i notice there are typically 6 different cards of the same type to choose from; one being a Superclocked one. Is this the best choice?

/e

For a better comparison, can you compare the functionality of the new card to my current GTX 660. What kind of difference would I see?
