I use my computer as a space heater for my room during the winter, rather than using an actual electric heater

If I mine all day, It keeps my room about 4-5'F warmer , and I get some of the cost back in the form of bitcoins

Lol, better off mining one of the alt-currencies, that can output more value. My ASIC keeps my room warm at the moment but it has been steadily losing the fight against the insane difficulty adjustments and I will not be using it by the summer.

lol I do the same thing during the winter. Some how my computer is always pumping out loads of heat, even when I am not doing anything on it. haha



If I don't get AC this summer for my PC I may not use it at all. NN 100F and then my computer heating up my room even more.

Hosted mining is the way to go if actually want to make your money back. No ROI doing at home anymore.

I did the math when this first was offered from butterfly labs, you end up losing money per month when buying hosted. And that was back then, you would be losing even more now.
