This is helpful for myself, and probably others.

Please let me know any slang you know (Computer related) as im still learning terms etc! :)

Currently would like to know whatbottle neck means? I know noobie, My guess, something cant be used to full potential due to limitations on comp hardware??


Anyways I can start with some terms i know;

HDMI / High Definition Multimedia Interface
DVI / Digital Video Interface
HDD / Hard Drive Disk
(Commonly used; GB/ Gigabye TB/ Terabyte)
LAN / Local Area Network

An example of a bottleneck in a system is when one component creates a slowdown, or prevents the full usage of another component. For example, an older cpu will likely bottleneck current gpu's preformance in gaming.

DDR means Double Data Rate

HDD = hard disk drive

Really though, these phrases still have no context so people aren't going to understand what we are talking about even if they technically know what the word means.

For example, state what an ssd actually is and does. Make a short sentence about each.

error. a ssp is a Solid State Penis
