That would be the 18,000 BTU window A/C unit, just 6 inches behind, and 3 inches to the left of rear of my comp. It just hit 80 degrees outside, and that was the signal to break it out of winter storage.....woooooooooooooooooooot !!

I'd show ya a comp temps reading, but it's STILL cooling down...we'll have to wait. Suffice it to say that motherboard temps are equal to ambient temps...which will take a few hours to completely cool down. This is a 'built in 1908' uninsulated apartment.

Well room ambient still 23C (75F) and here is initial reading:

Keep in mind that we talkin overclocked comp too.

Case itself is up OFF file cabinet...3 inches to allow the 75CFM intake on bottom of case...to have plenty of air.

Before A/C was in window...my temps were:
CPU: 38C
MBD: 28C
GPU: 45C
MCP: 53C

You pretty much ripped me off. I was doing this about 1 or 2 months ago, and infact you posted in my thread about using an AC for cooling.

I had to install an ac unit in my apartment last summer. I was running 3 comps with 4 nvidia video cards (9800gtx and above)

I was also folding.

Sorry to rain on ur parade, but I've been doing this for about 5 years now...almost 3 years with the new case.
I remember that post and was looking thru my backup HDD for that pic...must not have saved it...had to redraw it :/

But ya gotta admit..it works like a charm...almost a 10C drop across the board :)

P.S. I NEVER fold laundry :D
