Hello, I've been having an issue for a week or 2. I'll be playing D4 and both of my monitors will "No Display." My Youtube/Spotify audio still plays and it stays that way until I hard reset it. I've reseated GPU, checked all the cables, reset CMOS, reset the PC, redid all the drivers and some other things. My temps are fine, generally. Highest CPU was 80, GPU like 50. Voltage was fine iirc. No longer getting any error messages from event viewer at the time of shutdown, as I've fixed most of those. Was thinking about testing a new PSU and returning it if it doesn't work the issue. Any ideas or things to try? Thank you.

My monitors are plugged in via Display Port (27") and HDMI (32"). I'll provide more info as needed.

Have you tried using your integrated graphics to see if the same issue happens? Sounds like an issue with your PSU or GPU, so if you can test with a different PSU it would help narrow down the issue

When I did, only one monitor worked iirc. I'll try it again. I''ve been usiing an old 1060 to see if it happens still. It hasn't so far, but we'll see.

Ah, using a different GPU is a better way to test it. Just wasn't sure if you had one lying around :P

Have you tried any stress test programs to try and recreate the issue? I assume the monitors going out happens after playing for a bit, so using a program would probably get the problem to show up faster

Nah, not yet. I was going to do a memtest but I don't have a USB stick. I'll prob just use my external drive. But yeah, the time frame between it happening varies a lot, half the time it's instant upon boot to 10 mins, I've gone hours playing also, so I'll run the stress test on 1060, then 2070. Just found about about SuperPosition, so I'll prob do that. I pray it's not the GPU, that's expensive.

1060 didn't cause an issue with SuperPosition, I'll try 2070s now.

Update: 2070s did fine on the 8k stress test, so I really have no idea now lol.

Weird, i'm going to go out on a limb and assume it's an intermittent power issue then. I'd get a new PSU to test that out

Okay, I'm thinking of just getting this 1k one: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/corsair-rmx-series-rm1000x-80-plus-gold-fully-modular-atx-power-supply-black/6459246.p?skuId=6459246

Worst case, I'll just buy an ok GPU if it still happens with the PSU.

That PSU looks good for your build
Just be sure not to reuse your PCI-e cables from your current PSU as they may be damaged as well

This
Dp hdmi port and cable for rated specs

Been through this with 1.2 dp cables but 1.4 ports even though I wasn't using that much bandwidth
Same with 1.4 hdmi and 2.0 ports

All on dp 1.4 atm
Only issue I deal with now is not to let my monitors go into sleep mode after spring idle
