Hi, recently had some bugs so decided to do the usual sfc / scannow and memtest86

memtest found a bunch of errors. Now I am not sure how to proceed.

Should I try to put back RAM on stock clock and redo memtest first? And then try with only 1 RAM bar and redo the test? then try second bar? try em in different slots?

Now at pass 3/4, 34 errors...

PC specs:
-MSI Tomahawk MAX B450 mobo
-Ryzen 5 3600 (no oc)
-Gskill trident 2x8gb XPS 3000MHZ oc
-Nvidia 1660 SUPER
-Windows 10 64bits

It is possible the ram slots on the mobo is going but you need a tester to do that or different ram to test. But i think its the ram, Make sure you using the right ram speed for your mobo. Anything more than what it can take will cause errors.

Started another test after putting XPS off and running default RAM settings (2133mt/s)

Test is at pass #3 and it’s at 19 errors already. Seems to be getting less without XPS tho.

So next I will remove a module and run memtest again.

Ran another 4 pass memtest with only 1 RAM module, in slot 2. Test failed again.

Ether your ram is bad or the mobo can not handle the speed of the ram, worst case mobo ram slots are done.

Tested the other module on slot 2, found 6 errors, compared to like 25 on the other module (test in previous post)

Testing the same module in slot 1 just to see if there is something wrong in mobo, but I am pretty sure I will need to buy new RAM..

Im glad you are doing the tests, good work. But i think your ram is done. When you do buy new ram just make sure its within your mobos limits. Sorry about the bad news. ram isnt to much for ddr4 at least.
