Hi,i am experiencing some problems with my computer shutting down at random times while D2r is loading.

This happens mostly when i am trying to join/create a game at the loading screen and rarely at the begining cinematics.

When i manage to enter a game the game runs smooth, not sure if this has to do with GPU,CPU or even the power supply.

any help would be appreciated

Would it be memory?

Google said this
it is a graphics driver-related issue. If graphics drivers are corrupted or outdated, your computer is prone to problems like keeps turning off when playing games. Windows OS doesn't keep your drivers up-to-date all the time. You should manually check for updates.Aug 10, 2023

post your pc specs. determine first if its a overheating issue or not. if not look to your power supply or graphics card for compatibility errors.

does this only happen with d2r? does your computer display this behavior doing any other tasks or running other games? is it an alienware?

use the AMD adrenaline system overlay to see if you are overheating. have you tried turning your game graphic settings down, turning vsync off/on, going into your computer system settings and putting into performance power mode/ low power mode.
Is that graphics card new to that system?

basically you are cpu bottlenecked. ur gpu too strong for your cpu. d2r is a pretty demanding game. I guessing you have pcie 2.0 on your mobo and your 6600 is pcie 4.0 x8.
Imo you would either have to upgrade your mobo, cpu, ram or get an older graphics card to improve performance. RX 580(PCI-Express 3.0 x16) would prolly give you a better time or a gtx 1080ti.

will try all these, also another thing that i forgot to mention is that when i power up my pc,most of the times it will stuck on the ''bios screen'' and i need to push a button from my keyboard and or mouse in order for the pc to proceed and go into windows,
not sure if its relevant.
