Topic says it all, throw in your 2 cents on these stereos if you're willing or even better if you have personal experience.

They'll mostly be used to watch tv/movies with with the occasional music. Quick note, I'm partially deaf and usually end up lowering bass and upping treble so I can understand voices better at least on tv shows. On movies and music, I crank everything up.

I'm looking for something up to the $500 range and there isn't a Samsung one unless I go up to $750 but Amazon has that one refurbished. Yea or nay on refurbished?

I also already have a BIC F12 475W subwoofer if that helps formulate opinions as well but I'd put 2x subs in separate corners of the room if it came to that.
