vox vfs5 (requires no battery)
when I plug it in the back where it belongs I have to really really push hard for the light to come on and then it kicks off and on with more and less pressure applied

what's my best bet to fix this?
I tried cutting back a millimeter or two on the chord where it starts to show the metal plug
I tried tightening the nut on the back of the amp.

what if I snipped a mm or 2 off the end of the connector in the back of the amp?

Like I said it works I just cant keep connection.
