Might as well start with a classic guitar and see where it goes? Which one should I buy? Could I learn how to play from youtube videos?

What kind of music do you want to be able to play? what is your reason for wanting to play guitar as opposed to any other instrument

get a cheap one to start out on that way you don't waste a pile of money if you end up not liking it. I would recommend an Epiphone for a beginner.

For a starting guitar, just go to a local guitar center or similar store and browse through the used section, you can find amazing deals there on equipment that still preforms like new. I would personally suggest starting on an acoustic guitar because it's much less expensive. You will be able to get an acoustic guitar that will sound okay for $100 USD used, whereas an electric setup will run you at least a couple hundred used and sound terrible. If you still enjoy playing and learning after 6 months to a year, then you can start looking into more expensive setups and different types of guitars.
As for learning guitar, you will be able to learn tons from youtube. Start of with just some simple 3-4 chord songs, then work your way up from there.
