This isn't really my style of music, so I won't comment on the stylistic aspect of it too much – it would be too uninformed. However, I do enjoy making what might be considered progressive trance, so it's definitely related in a lot of ways. Though, definitely some key differences.
I dig the Alan Watts samples. Not sure if I'd recommend sidechain compressing them to the kick though, if that's what you meant though. Think they might be harder to hear that way, but that's a stylistic choice I guess. They could use a bit of EQ love just so they cut through the mix a little more, though.
Sounds like a pretty finished song, composition-wise, so that's a good thing. Reminds me of being young, on a beach or something. Halcyon days, or something like that. I like the portamento lead, it's pretty soothing.
Again, sort of bordering on a stylistic comment, but I think around 1:15 that transition feels a little hesitant or something. I might suggest trying to cut out like a bar, or half a bar, or even a quarter of one there just to increase the impact the kick has when it hits in. Just food for thought, you're the artist.
Overall, sounds pretty good for what I know of this style of music. Finalize the mix and master that baby!
