Hi, I want to learn guitar and dont have much to invest on it. I saw a local ad someone is selling a Squier Fender-Affinity lefty.
The guitar seems to be in good shape not damaged at all, so im wondering if its a bad investment and if there could be hidden damage ?

don't play lefty

otherwise you can't really go wrong. Any tuneable guitar without a wompas neck is good for starting. playing lefty is a disaster. good luck

lefty is bad even for left handed people and this is why:

Nobody ever worth their salt did it all without any instruction.

All of your instructors will have to look at your guitar neck backwards and then recalculate and extra thought for every thing they ever teach you. It's not avoidable. I've been there. Sounds easy but when you are in a routine of teaching and always do things in certain ways. The occasional backwards guitar neck is way more of a kink in things than you might imagine. Henceforth you are gonna be very alone learning if you play lefty. Might sound good to a recluse even, i'm one. But it's robbing you of all the good music mentors you could get in life. DOn't play lefty.
