I am really interested in starting to play piano and/or keyboard.

So my idea was to buy a keyboard and try to teach myself some techniques on my own.
Or is it actally better to get piano lessons?
How do you suggest me to start my purpose.

Any can you recommend any good beginner keyboards
Priceclass 100-300 €

a midi controller keyboard is very cheap because it uses the PC for the brains.

Getting a copy of a daw (software on pc) can be difficult though. Especially if you follow all laws and rules pertaining to such purchases.

My midi controller was featured in one of my early attempts at this new morning show. Watch this to know more about this type of keyboard:
(mine was $40 used at a guitar store on consignment)

fast forward to 46:54 to see the keyboard and more on MIDI controllers.

Well, I've always wanted to get lessons from a teacher, it's more hands on and you learn much quicker.

But, I taught myself quite a bit by watching videos on youtube videos, also I went to a music store and bought a couple beginner piano books, learned songs and how to read sheet music.

If I had the choice I'd get lessons from a teacher and practice even more watching youtube videos at home if you are serious about it.

If you buy a Novation Launchkey Mini, you get a copy of Ableton Live 9 Lite which will allow one to load up a VSti or sampler that you load with a sample yourself and allow you to play the keyboard, record, etc.
