if oyu buy all pionneer gear, it can cost you around 10 000 if not more, what you can do if you are a beginer, start with a 1k or so and just mix like you feel and if you like that then go for higher one

You can use Traktor/Serato and map your keyboard to use the proper functions like play, cue, etc.

It also depends on how you want to DJ....

-DVS with turntables of any kind (Software based system like Traktor, Serato, etc)
-CD (Pioneer CDJ, Denon SC3000, Numark NDX)
-USB (Pioneer CDJ 350, 850, 900, 2000 and XDJ1000)
-Controller (Traktor S4, Pioneer DJ SB, etc)

There are tons of variations I could give you depending on what you think you may want to do. I would highly suggest researching the www.djtechtools.com forums as well.

Let me know if you have any questions, and I'll be able to help you %100.

I don't see why not

Question though, what made you go with, or want to go with Serato?
