Saturday, my band is having its first full band show (we've done a few acoustic shows just me and the guitarist)

Other than myself, nobody has been in a show before...

How do I get them ready and keep them from getting nervous?? It's only going to be about 100 people at the show.

Shake off the nervousness get loosing up before you go on. Don't look at anyone in the face in the crowd lol.
This is what i did when we played in front of our entire high school.

smoke up before, drink up after.

It's my brother-in-law doing the vocals so I'm more worried about him so I'll give him this info

I'm not going to encourage him to smoke or do any sort of drugs...

to be honnest tell him to start the first song by closing is eyes and sing like he usualy do, then after 4-5 seconds when he will feel better, then now he can start to sing like a pro and have fun instead of being nervous.

Thank you for the tips! We had a blast and even had an encore!

It was only about 75 people total but we were asked when we're putting out an EP and getting shirts and stuff made!

(The guitarist did great!)
