There is Virtual DJ, which has a free home edition that isn't bad when it comes to learning the basics. There is also Traktor, which can be used strictly with your laptop, and can expand up to using DJ controllers and even turntables with the software if you decide to expand/upgrade. Traktor is what I use with my turntables for home use. It isn't free, but it is worth the money.
