Hi there. I recently picked up an acoustic bass for pretty cheap, nothing fancy, just an entry level dean electric acoustic.
Now my two questions are as follows.
What strings would you guys recommend, i just got this to kind of mess around on so not looking for like 30-50$ strings. Keeping it around 20 or under would be nice.
Second thing. There is a bit of a crack in the saddle that is causing it to bend. I intend to replace this and have read that its not entirely difficult, i'm fairly decent with my hands and repairing things, so what i am assuming is that you buy one that is larger than you need and file it down to size?
any recommendations on that?
Are they the same size as ones for a guitar? because i'm having trouble finding any bass specific ones
