I found this guitar in the garage. But came across this thing, it's from the early 40's I believe.

Could someone tell me what something like this may be worth? I know it's in pretty rough shape.

i'd never sell such a piece

Have it professionally appraised so you can have their documentation to help you sell it for the right price and not get ripped off. Will be easier to find a buyer if you lessen the degree of fear of being ripped off. I think the appraisal price would be worth it also, since the guitar is easily worth more than 1 or 2k. Maybe a shit ton more, like 15 or 20k. IF it's authentic that is. Appraisal will tell you that. It could be an imitation.
