So I'm moving into an apartment and I figure my neighbours won't exactly enjoy hearing me play at 3 am, so I'm looking to get some headphones.
I like to play anything from blues to thrash metal, and I play an Ibanez RG1570 through a shitty 15W Marshall Valvestate.
I know absolutely nothing about these things, so any help is appreciated.

beats are overpriced trash and anyone who recommends them automatically has any and all of their opinions invalidated.

sennheiser and audio technica are good. i personally have the audio technica ath m30 and its got great sound quality. comfort can be an issue when wearing them for long periods of time, but ive got a big head...
