For lower value guitars where shipping will be a significant amount, Craigslist is usually workable, though you'll get a couple people each looking to trade or lowball you and you'll have to bargain a bit harder.

*** [mostly] cuts out the bullshit of dealing with people who aren't interested in buying and fetches a decent price on a nice guitar, minus fees and shipping.

Ideally, sell it to someone you know through friends or in the local scene and give them a fair/good deal on it - a bit less than *** price, but you save the fees and shipping. It's always good to see an instrument of yours being played and enjoyed. Not an option for everyone, but as your profile says you're from NJ, you shouldn't have a problem finding a buyer within a reasonable range.

Zodi smacked it on the head there - just have a reasonable expectation for the price :) I'm debating trading in my mustang for a les paul, lmk :P

It's a good platform to guage interest, maybe stick it on at $2000 BIN but accept offers and just see what rolls in xD

i would research price and not appear too greedy. i would sell my '95 studio for $1000 in a heartbeat, 90's arent really sought after unless its rare or extra fancy.
