Hello!
I want to release my first music!
I'm the type of artist that has been sitting in his "homestudio" and produced for about 2-3 years, without ever releasing anything because i wanted that "top quality" both technically, lyrically, and production-wise.
In relation to this i'd like to ask you guys; should i record my songs in a prof. studio and pay around 800$ for that, or should I record it at home and just mix it.
I can deff tell the difference myself between a "pro" recording and mixing" but Question is if other people can.
As a poor student, would it be worth the money or should i simply record, mix and release by myself simply to get myself out there once and for all?
I know this is very dependent upon my own mixing skills, but generally, how big of a difference does it make?
Any advice would be appreciated.
